Our story

Velkar AI started in 2024 as a shared spreadsheet of tools our small team kept recommending to each other. As AI tools multiplied, so did the noise — every product claimed to be "the best," and most reviews online were either sponsored or written without ever opening the product. We built Velkar AI to fix that.

How we review

Every tool featured on Velkar AI goes through the same process:

• Consistent research rubric — every tool is evaluated on the same criteria: features, ease of use, automation depth, support, and value for money.
• Real pricing, verified — we check plan prices and free-tier limits against the vendor's own pricing page at the time of writing, and note when pricing is likely to change.
• Multiple sources — we work from product documentation, changelogs, and real user feedback, not press releases or vendor marketing claims.
• Independent scoring — ratings are editorial scores and are never influenced by affiliate relationships. Tools cannot pay to be listed or ranked.

Who we are

Velkar AI Tools is an independent, self-funded publication run by its founding editor. Every article is researched, fact-checked, and edited against the published rubric — pricing and plan limits are verified on each vendor's own site before publishing — and the editor is personally accountable for every verdict on the site. Velkar AI has no outside investors and no commercial relationships that influence coverage.

Articles are published under the Velkar AI Tools byline, with the same workflow behind each one: AI-assisted research and drafting, followed by human planning, fact-checking, and editing — described in full below.

How we use AI

We cover AI tools, and we use them too. AI assists our research and drafting workflow — gathering pricing data, summarizing documentation, and producing first drafts. Every article is then planned, fact-checked, and edited by a human before it is published, and factual claims (pricing, plan limits, features) are verified against the vendor's own site at the time of writing. If something slips through, tell us and we'll correct it.

How we make money

Velkar AI is supported by display advertising (Google AdSense) and affiliate commissions on some recommended tools. Affiliate relationships never affect our ratings — see our Affiliate Disclosure for full details.
