Sharpen and upscale a low-resolution clip with AI. Upload a video, choose how much to enlarge it, and get a cleaner, higher-resolution version — right in your browser. Free, no sign-up, no install.
The enhancer adds the most value to genuinely soft or low-resolution clips. A video that's already sharp has little to gain.
Upscaling rebuilds every frame, so it's far heavier than an image. Trim to a few seconds to preview the result before doing a longer clip.
The first launch waits for the GPU to warm up, and video takes time to process. Come back when it's done — it's worth the wait.
No editing timeline to learn — upload, choose a factor, and let the model rebuild each frame.
Drop in a short MP4. Lower-resolution or slightly soft footage benefits the most.
Choose how much to enlarge it — 2× is a safe default, up to about 4× for the biggest jump.
The AI rebuilds detail across every frame; preview the result and download the sharper video.
Video enhancement works by spatial upscaling — a neural network looks at each frame, estimates the detail that a higher-resolution version would contain, and rebuilds it. It's the same idea as our Image Upscaler, applied frame by frame, which is why it takes much longer than a single photo.
A few things make a real difference. Start with the clearest source you have — the model can sharpen and enlarge, but it can't recover detail that was never captured, and it won't fix heavy compression or motion blur on its own. Pick the upscale factor to match the job: 2× is a dependable default that adds crispness without over-processing, while higher factors take far longer and, because the model is inventing detail, can occasionally look a little artificial — always check the output at full size.
Because upscaling processes every frame on a shared GPU, keep clips short. Trim to the few seconds that matter, enhance that, and you'll get a result far faster than feeding it a long video. If you only need a still, grab a frame and run it through the Image Upscaler instead.
